Given its success, LINUX has been adopted by the bulk of the worlds Web hosts who offer it either as an exclusive solution, or an option to choose from alongside Windows. With such a plethora of Web hosts offering LINUX, finding a good LINUX host becomes increasingly difficult. War hero awarded Silver Star after his death
This month, the Marine Corps posthumously awarded Sean the Silver Star, the nation's third-highest award for bravery under fire, for his actions during the Fallujah firefight. The ceremony was Feb. 6. "It was the day he turned 25," Stokes said, then corrected himself. "Would have been 25." It was the first time a no-stripe private had been awarded the Silver Star since Vietnam, and only a couple of people got one even back then. Sean returned to the United States a changed man, his father said. He clearly suffered at least a mild form of post-traumatic stress. He would spend three hours a day working out, training in martial arts and kickboxing. He drove fast - way too fast for his father - and talked about buying a superfast motorcycle. Several months later, Sean's unit was deployed to Iraq.
Reviews of all the latest DVD releases
But none of that takes away from the fact that this is still an absorbing movie with an intriguing premise. Hume's cherished son is brutally murdered at a petrol station - the innocent victim of a gangland initiation killing. The family is shattered - but even more so when it emerges that the correct legal channels offer almost no hope of justice. And that's when Hume (Kevin Bacon) opts out and decides to take the law into his own hands... a big, big mistake. In exacting revenge, he unwittingly declares war on the whole gang, at which point not even the police can help him. But just when the tension is at its height, director Wan misses a trick. There's an obvious moment when the film should have ended - and it would have been a great ending. Instead, Wan carries on for 20 minutes of bloodbath - a decision which soon dissipates most of the interest.
The Once Juggernaut: Rising Quickly
Instead of the 75-seat clubs and bars The Swell Season played last year, they'll be headlining venues like Radio City Music Hall and the Coachella Music Festival. There was one other blessing the film wrought Hansard and Irglova fell in love while promoting Once last spring. "They're a great story," says Steve Feldstein, a spokesman for Fox Home Entertainment, which released Once on DVD in December and expects to see a spike in sales at retailers mimicking the movie's ascent on Amazon. "There's nothing quite like the Oscars as a promotional vehicle. Their performance was wonderful. Their speeches were honest and fresh." Fox Searchlight launched the film in limited theatrical release in May with a 16-city bus tour. Screening the movie for local press and closing with live Swell Season performances, the tour built on the goodwill the film had established with critics at the Sundance Film Festival in January.

IN THE OUTDOORS: February offers host of activities
If you are one of those hunters or anglers who thought February was going to give you a chance to catch up on rest before spring fishing, you might want to double check the outdoor calendar. While the largest and likely most fun event is not open to the public, plenty of outdoor-related activities are available to keep us busy. It starts with the Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show and Conference (SHOT Show) in Las Vegas and ends with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation's annual Elk Camp in Reno. After taking its wares to Orlando, Fla., in 2007, the SHOT Show has come back here and begins Saturday at the Las Vegas Convention Center. This show is the shooting and hunting industry's largest trade show and is not open to the public. This year marks the show's 30th anniversary, and it's expected to be the largest show to date, with more than 715,000 square feet of exhibit space where buyers from 50 states and 75 countries will be looking for products to put on their shelves or in the pages of their catalogs.
